DETROIT BROWS

Appointment Polices

Our salon policies are designed to make your visit enjoyable. Please take a moment to review them. We’re eager to provide you with excellent service!

Online Booking

To secure your appointment at Detroit Brows, we require a credit card to be placed on file at your booking request.

This policy offers guests transparent pricing and no hassle with checking out while eliminating the financial impact caused by missed appointments and late cancellations. Per our policy, your card on file will be charged 75% of the scheduled service fee if you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. If your card on file is removed, your appointment will be canceled; rebooking privileges will be suspended until fees are paid, and a new card is placed on file.

Cancellation Policy

The time you schedule is reserved exclusively for you. When appointments are missed or canceled with insufficient notice, we cannot fill the vacancy, causing a substantial financial impact on the business.

Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment with Detroit Brows, we request a 24-hour notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will result in charge of 75% of the scheduled service.

Those who No Call/ No Show will not be permitted to reschedule with Detroit Brows.

If you cannot commit to appointments in advance, we recommend messaging and asking to be placed on the Wait List. Then, should an opening in our schedule occur, you will receive a text message notification and will have the opportunity to reserve that time for you.

Minors & Children

Detroit Brows provides guests with a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It is not a safe or suitable environment for children. Clients must make childcare arrangements before visiting as children are not permitted in the treatment areas. Clients who arrive with children will be required to reschedule and may be subject to the cancellation appointment fee as this policy has no exceptions.

Late Arrivals

Detroit Brows does not extend service times or issue refunds for late arrivals. Arriving more than 5 minutes late for your service will result in its cancellation and a fee equal to 75% of the scheduled service price.

Sickness

Permitting access to Detroit Brows when clients are experiencing infectious or contagious illness or related symptoms violates state rules and regulations for licensed establishments. State Safety and Sanitation Regulations prohibit licensed establishments from allowing clients exposed to or showing signs of an infectious or contagious disease to enter premises as a practice of Universal Precaution to reduce the spread of infectious diseases.

Please cancel your appointment as soon as you become aware that you are experiencing symptoms or if you have been exposed to anyone experiencing infectious or contagious conditions. The cancellation fee may be waived if it is within the 24-hour notice period. Please be aware that repeat cancellations utilizing the Sickness Policy may require a medical release from your physician before rescheduling is permitted.

Service Animals

Detroit Brows does not allow animals in the business; however, an individual with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act to bring a service animal to their scheduled appointment when medically necessary.

SERVICE ANIMALS

In general, a service animal is an animal trained to work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, such as guiding individuals with impaired vision, alerting individuals to an impending seizure, or pulling a wheelchair and fetching dropped items.

Detroit Brows will evaluate all requests to bring a service animal into the business to determine if the accommodation is reasonable and can be provided without undue hardship. Clients may be asked to bring the service animal to the business to demonstrate the animal’s training and ability to be in the business without disruption.

If an accommodation is granted to allow a service animal in the business, the arrangement may be permitted on a temporary or trial basis. Reasonable behavior is expected from service animals while on company property. Disruptive and aggressive service animals must be removed from the premises immediately and permission to bring the animal to future scheduled appointments will be revoked.

All animals need to be immunized against rabies and other diseases common to that type of animal. All vaccinations must be current, and animals must be in good health.

Service animals must wear an owner identification tag (which includes the name and phone number of the owner) at all times.

Animals must be on a leash, harness, or another type of restraint at all times, unless the client is unable to retain an animal on a leash due to a disability.

The Client must be in full control of the animal at all times. The care and supervision of the animal is solely the responsibility of the client. The client is expected to clean and dispose of all animal waste appropriately.

Cell Phone Usage

At Detroit Brows, we require our guests’ full attention in the treatment areas to assure your safety, ensure a favorable service outcome, support employee productivity and maintain a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere for all guests. Therefore, mobile devices must be silenced and stored.

Retail Refund/Exchange Policy

Our pleasure is to provide you with a store credit within three days of a retail purchase if the product is accompanied by the original receipt and remains sealed, unopened, and unused. Open items are considered contaminated and therefore ineligible for returns or exchanges.

Products that have been opened may be returned for a store credit should you have an adverse reaction. However, this is contingent upon a further consultation to review product usage and home care regimen.

Service Sales

To ensure the most favorable outcome, we perform thorough consultations that require your participation and honest feedback. All service sales and deposits are final.

Right to Refuse Service

The licensed professionals at Detroit Brows reserve the right to refuse services at their discretion and dismiss disruptive or abusive clients when necessary.

Duty to Inform

Your full disclosure during all pre-service consultations is mandatory. Detroit Brows will not assume responsibility for your adverse reactions suffered when a guest has failed to inform us of contraindicating conditions.

Scope of Practice

In Michigan, state law prohibits salon and spa professionals from diagnosing or treating clients with contraindicated medical conditions. Should your licensed professional determine you are ineligible for service, we will refer you to your primary care physician. When your condition has been resolved, or you have a medical release clearing you for service, you are more than welcome to reschedule your appointment.
